Welcome to the LVPAS website

The Len Valley Preservation and Angling Society controls the fishing rights to Mallards Way lake by way of annual membership, there is NO day ticket fishing available.

If you wish to become a member of the Society please go to the subscriptions tab on this page, then click on the link to download and print an application form.

Mallards Way Lake is situated next to the River Len between the parishes of Downswood and Bearsted, just off Spot Lane. The lake is convenient for access (parking in Mallards Way or Spot Lane) and shares the area with other local recreational activities and public amenities.

The Lake is just over an acre in size and can accomodate a maximum of 18 anglers and is home to a variety of species of fish including Common, Mirror and Crucian Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Dace, Chub, Gudgeon, Perch and Pike.

The Society runs a few angling contests for both senior and junior anglers during the summer months, dates and times are sent to members by post.
